Yoga for Intimacy, A Pratner Yoga Workshop A

 Amongst the hundreds of things that yoga can teach us, it can also teach us how to tap into, harness, release, and balance the sensual and sexual energies of our bodies through exploring our hips. Hips and the pelvic region of the body is most associated with sexuality. Energy blockages in this area of the body can contribute to tight hips and tight leg muscles, such as hamstrings. Therefore, in this workshop, we learn how to open our hips so that we may release tension and blockages while creating space for sensual energy to flow more freely. You will also be introduced to yogic practices that enhance your body awareness and uplifts your mood so that you may enjoy your sensual experiences more.

Sonali Sadequee is passionate about educating and supporting busy individuals in their journey towards achieving and sustaining wholeness while creating community sustainability. She is professionally trained in the art of healing foods, yoga, meditation, and transformative communication as both a coach and teacher.

She is a certified alignment-based Hatha yoga teacher who specializes in working with marginalized and traumatized populations. She is certified by the College of Purna Yoga.  She has been teaching the movement arts for over ten years.  Her roots are in Hatha yoga, Purna Yoga, Social Justice,Trauma-sensitive-yoga, nutrition, Imago communication, tantra energy, and her own journey in exploring the mystery of Life. Movement, spirituality, and  deep self-exploration have always been sources of transformation and healing for Sonali.
