Marco Pardi: Language/Symbolism, Quantum Mechanics, and Mysticism Aug. 20th 7pm-on

August 20th, Friday, 7 – ? In the first 45 minutes Marco will give a brief presentation of Language/Symbolism, Quantum Mechanics, and Mysticism. Then turn the talk into a full inter-active discussion. Come ready with your questions! These three topics are all related to the issue of personal identity and non-corporeal existence. Marco Pardi is the guy who wrote the curriculum for the course in Death and Dying that is taught in our colleges today. In fact he was the driving force behind Hospice. The truth is he is so down to earth he barely talks about all his achievements and in a way that makes him really easy to be around. Marco worked with Kubler Ross in the 70’s, had his own talk show and published books all on the topic of death and dying. Now Marco is a professor. I know he does it because he can’t sit still and thrives on challenging people, because he could have easily retired from the CDC after his years of service. Well I have convinced him to come out and play with us and do a series of talks. It is a rarity to have him back out in the public. Honestly you should come and pick his brain.
