Boston Bound Running Clinic with Kate Edwards and Coach Carl

Kate Edwards, PT, DPT, OCS and Coach Carl Leivers will be providing talks on:
-Strength training routines for effective hill running to attack the Newtown hills
-Boston PR training case studies to show you the techniques and training elements that are “must-haves” for Boston
Downhill and uphill running form to maximize your running economy
-Raceday tactics and strategies to handle the mid-day start and the challenging course

Kate Edwards, PT, DPT, OCS is a physical therapist specializing in the prevention and treatment of running injuries. She has residency training in orthopedics, and serves as a team leader in the medical tent for the Peachtree Road Race and Atlanta Marathon and Half Marathon.
Coach Carl Leivers works with runners of all ability levels to improve their running, and enjoy it more. He is a USA Track & Field Level 2 Endurance Coach and his coaching has been featured in Runner’s World, Competitor, Women’s Health, Men’s Fitness, among other publications.
